August Blog Hop

Our Goal for this Blog Hop was to come up with something creative using a CD case. That was a little tougher that I first imagined. I wanted to come up with something off the wall. But I looked over at my collection of mini albums and decided on that. I was surprised at how much the CD case would hold. PTI paper is THICK (and yummy) then I added embellishments including buttons!! The entire album is 6 pages. I used the Pink Paper collection and Its a Celebration stamps. This was a lot of fun to work on and came together fairly quickly.

Here is the CD case open then you can pull out the entire accordion album

Here is the CD case closed. It closes well despite the 3-D elements on the layouts.
Here is the accordion album open. It fits just inside at 4 1/2'' x 4 1/2''
Here is the other side of the album. It is interesting and sad to look at her birthday photos in a group you really get an idea of how fast our kids grow. It was fun to look through them all and

reminisce. Grace loved looking at them all too. I think this is now her album!

Thanks for looking! Be sure to check out the PTI forum for a list of all the Blog Hop participants.
I had a little problem getting my photos in order. sorry.

Cheers!

~Julie~

That is a great way to keep those memories. I might even be able to pull off a scrapbook like that. have to give that a try. It would make great holiday gifts for family members. -Molly B
