So today I wanted to share a cute little card with stamps and a cricut. I am having a hard time leaving that Cricut alone huh? That's okay I am having so much fun with it. All of the deets are listed below. Thanks a TON for your visit. Have an awesome night!

Popsicle Pinquin

Hi There!!

Thanks so much for coming by today. I am still trying to get into the swing of things. Still come catching up to do AND dh is still working on the kitchen floor. Gosh love that man, poor baby, every time he starts a project something terrible happens. So a fairly simple tile project turned into at least 10 trips to Lowes and cutting into a water line where the washing machine goes and so on. so my stove and washer/dryer and in my living room floor and my refrigerator is in front of the front door, seems so odd to head out like I am going outside to get milk from the fridge.
Annnnyyyyway. Here is a simple little card I made from my friend Gina's Penguin stamp and Popsicle stamp. A friend gave me the super cute Popsicle ribbon and I totally LOVE pink and orange for summer. I used PTI White, True Black and Raspberry Fizz cardstock with CTMH Orange cardstock. I also used Copic and Prisma Color Markers and the Fiskars Threading Water Punch. Thanks again for stopping by, have an awesome night folks!

Its Your Day Anya

I'm Back from the beach!
It was so much fun. So relaxing. So HOT!!!!
But that is why there is a huge body of water right? We spent more time at the pool than the beach as there was a lot of seaweed. NEVER rained! How lucky is that? The top pick is the view from our condo down to the pool. Gosh, it was a really nice place and they had TONS of organized things for the kiddos. Anywho, you did not come here to hear about my vacation.
This little card is Show Time Anya, my friend Tina let me stamp with her. She is so dang cute.
The sketch I used was Mojo Monday 89. The paper pack is Boom-Di-Ada from CTMH. I used Copic Markers to color her. The star punches are the large and small star from Stampin' Up!
I also used my fave Spellbinder Die Label One. PTI products are Vintage Cream cs and ribbon and Star Prints (Sentiment). I have lots of catching up to do so I need to run, Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you enjoy your Monday night.

Vacation....all I ever wanted.

HI YA!!!
Whenever I say vacation I think of that song from the Go Gos!!! Fun all girl band back in the day! :)
I am leaving in just a few short hours to Panama City Beach, Florida! The family is so excited as we never got a chance to go last year. Only thing though is hubby is staying behind, this is just a girls trip with me, mom, daughter, sister and niece!! I sure will miss hubs but he will be putting in tile in the kitchen so when I get home I have a new kitchen floor!! whoop whoop! I thought about bringing this card with me to mail him while we are there. It certainly is not manly but it sure is tropical and VERY loud. Mom hated the ribbon on it, said it was WAY too much. So I took it off, what do you think? The card AND the embossing powders are from American Crafts. I won a whole package from American Crafts off of the Cards Magazine blog. In fact I won all of the colors in their 5x7 cards and envelopes for 9 colors, 12 in each pack. THEN I also got the entire collection of Metallic and Glitter Zing embossing powders!!! woooohoooo, yea ME! The paper pack is called Moon Doggie from CTMH. The flowers are also CTMH, a stamp set called Extreme Happiness. I look forward to scrapping some beach pictures with this fun paper. I embossed the flowers with Zing Purple Metallic ep and used the Zing Red Glitter embossing powder for the middle part of the flower. I think this is a Hibiscus and I have NO IDEA the parts of this flower so please excuse my ignorance! LOL I have no green thumb what so ever. I just typed up the sentiment in word using CTMH Stumbling Along Font. Oh! and the ribbon is CTMH Natural Twill. Okie Doke, gotta run. Thanks for stopping by!! Have an awesome week!

Its Tuesday, only one more day to go and I off for the rest of the week THEN I leave for Panama City Beach, FL on Sunday! wooohoooo! I am so ready for some sand and sun.
Check out this little cutie patootie! She belongs to my friend Tina, but Tina let me stamp with her. I am not sure which Anya she is though. I used SCS sketch challenge 230. The paper is Emporium from CTMH. The Spring Moss Ribbon from PTI matched just perfectly as did that awesome Dark Chocolate button also PTI. Added some PTI Rustic White Jute to the button. Copic markers to color her in and very hard to see in the photo but there is some glitter gel pen around her hair, outfit and wings. She was alot of fun and cant wait to play with her some more.
I hope you have enjoyed your Tuesday. Have an awesome night. THANKS for the visit!!

Crinkled Flowers

Happy Monday to you!!
Hope all is well. Had such a productive weekend in the scrap room this weekend. It was awesome! I made some crinkled up flowers that seem to be everywhere these days. I totally cased this card made by Dawn McVey. I decided to use pink. I have been lovin' some pink and oranges this weekend. I used PTI Hibiscus Burst and Summer Sunrise and New Leaf cardstock and ink. The white is new from PTI Rustic White cardstock and jute. The sentiment is PTI Wishing You and the polka dots are also PTI Polka Dot Basics. The text on the leaves are PTI Background Basics Text. Finally the button is My Minds Eye. I rasied the main image on pop dots and trimmed the edge with fiskars Apron Strings punch. I love it and am always so inspired by Dawn. Thank you for looking and visiting me today. Have an awesome tomorrow folks!

Flower Girl

It's Saturday!! My favorite day of the week. That is because we are all home together, usually, but not this Saturday. Hubby had to work out of town yesterday and today. But he will be home tonight! Yea! I missed him. Look at this ca-ute little girl. My dear friend Gina let me stamp her and use her Copics to color her! (you are so good to me thanks girl!) I used TAC patterned paper and cardstock. I love thier patterned papers. The sketch is from Mojo Monday week 76. The flowers are paper flowers from CTMH and I added a little bit-o-bling in the center by The Paper Studio. My daughter just lost one of my owl stamps, I need to find it ARRRGGG! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an awesome day!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge Week 8

Good Morning! It's Friday!!! I love Dawn's color challenges so I had to play along this week especially since I finally got another cricut. There is absolutely NO stamping on here. Gasp!
I had to use Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip cardstock because the PTI cardstock is too dang thick
to get a nice clean cut. Any cardstock was a little difficult with all this beautiful intraquit detail
in the frame. Maybe I just need to get a new blade. Anywho, the cartridge used is Home Accents. I LOVE it, having so much fun with it so far. I used PTI Kraft and the Raspberry Fizz is from the Bitty Dots patterned paper pack. These beautiful flat pearls were given to my by sweet Jak. I wish you could see this in person. It is so much more beautiful in person. Well I am off to check out more Raspberry Suite challengers! Have an awesome day. Thanks so much for looking!!!

Tree of Love

HI Guys!!!!
happy thursday to all of you. it is a happy thursday because my new (to me) cricut is chirping away in my scrap room. i hope to have lots of stuff to share soon. until then, here is another scrap page. this is my daughter grace and her nephew, my grandbaby logan. they are both probably the two most happy people on earth. they totally radiate off of each other. i love it! i get lots of happy photos when they are together. i got the tree ideas from a magazine, dont ask me which one, i dont know. i rip out pages of the mags i have read for inspiration later. i really should right down where they came from huh? the paper is SEI which you have seen me use before. such fun paper. the cardstock is ctmh as is the bird, ctmh bird basics. i journaled around the square with a creative memories pen. and what do you know the journaling fit perfectly around the square. i so love when great things like that happen! alright kids, i need to get ready to meet grace at school for an ice cream party for their very last day!!! then back to the cricut!
the house cleaning is just going to have to wait another day by golly!

Tuesday, June 2, 2009

HI There!!! I am sooo happy today. A girl at work sold me her barely used Cricut for $50.00, heck yes that is right $50.00 she has only used it just a hand full of times!!! I was crazy at Christmas time last year and traded my Cricut for a Straightening Iron. The thought behind that was the cartridges are kinda expensive and I did not have one that I liked. WELL... now Cricut has been coming out with some super duper cute ones, So I HAD to have another Cricut. I like to shop around for the best deal, and waited it out,and finally she just popped up one day and say hey, you are a scrapper, i am getting rid of stuff, i am going to put the Cricut on Craigs List..My ears perked up...what do you think about $50.00 i screamd SOLD! and that was the end of the story!! I have already bought Home Accents cartridge on ebay for $28.00!!! and CANNOT wait to play this weekend. Yea ME!! So what does this page have to do with Cricut? Nothing... I just wanted to share my bliss!!!! Thanks for listening.
you know what though, I think I did use Stacey's Cricut to cut out the dark blue star. This is Grace at one of her dance competitions. That is her with the HUGH surprised look on her face when they one first place in one of their dances!! So cute. I used more of the Starburst paper pack from CTMH. A Stampin' Up! star punch. Creative Memories circle punch. The Paper Studio rhinestones and flocked letters. Oh and Fiskars Threading Water Punch. Thanks for the visit!

Party On Rock Star!!

Good Evening Boys and Girls!!!
Happy Monday. Hope you have enjoyed yours. I really cannot complain. The ER was not too busy until about 2 hours before I left!! whoop whoop! Gosh the weekend went by so fast.
Check out this cute Rock Star Hanna!! My friend Gina let me stamp with hers. She is so cute
and my daughter LOVES her and can hardly wait to go to another birthday party so she can use it. I colored her with Gina's Copics (thanks bunches girly) to match the CTMH Star Dust paper pack. For the sentiment I used PTI Fresh Alphabet. It's a simple card, but fun to color. Thank you so much for coming to see me!! I love visitors. Have an awesome night.
