Hi There

HI! Hows your Thursday? Mine is awesome because it is actually my FRIDAY! wooohoooo! So first of all thanks so much for coming to visit my blog-o today!! I would like to share this cute little Ketto that my super friend Gina let me use. Isn't she the cutest little thing! Gina also let me use some of her Copic markers to color her in. That Gina is something else I tell ya. I started out with the SCS sketch challenge SC234, paired that with Heidi Grace patterned paper and Heidi Punch Board. the cardstock is PTI White and Plum Pudding and PTI Plum Pudding ribbon. That sweet little button is Favorite Findings and the little gems on her crown are The Paper Studio.
I am so looking forward to tomorrow, my daughter and I are finishing up her school shopping and doing lunch. We will spend most of the day at Opry Mills Mall. I love having days like that with her. She is such a girly girl and I LOVE that! Hope you enjoy YOUR Friday!
Cheers!

Bonjour! Thank you for stopping by to see me on this beautiful Sunday! i hope all of you enjoyed your weekend. I did not get a TON of crafting done but I did manage to squeeze in some. I have been wanting to make a 3 strand white bracelet for summer since this past winter, why in the world did it take me til the middle of summer to finally make it? I don't know. I had all of the stuff, i guess paper crafting took priority, teehee. I hope you like it, I cannot hardly wait to wear it to work! Thanks again for your visit!! Have an awesome night and tomorrow!

Beautiful Girl

Good Friday Morning to you all!!! Sorry for no posts in 4 days. I have had a really busy week with work and such. Now to play catch up time. I do have one more scrapbook page to share with you. Hope all you card people don't mind. This is my daughter Grace at our recent trip to Florida. I love her so much and cannot believe how fast she grows. She is always so kind enough to let me take photos of her. My niece was in Florida too and she would not let my sister take any pictures. I guess because Grace has grown up with a camera in her face she doesn't mind posing for me. Anywho here are the deets of the page. Thanks so much for your visit!!!!!
Cheers!

We Love This Kid

Greetings! Hope you have enjoyed your Monday. Mine was not too shabby. Found out today that our entire office is being treated to dinner at Stoney River on Wednesday. I have never been there before but heard it is absolutely fabulous so I cant wait. Besides taking dear daughter school shopping this weekend (gosh summer break goes by so fast) I got some scrapbooking finished. Loved every minute of it. I don't scrap enough. Anyway, I got the basic layout idea from Scrapbook Trends Magazine. I love these bright pics of Logan aka grand baby.
He is so sweet and so much fun. I just love his tiny fat fingers and toes. Thanks for looking!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge Week 12

Hello!! Happy Weekend. I got a chance to play along with Dawy McVey's Raspberry Suite Color Challenge. I have dedicated this week to scrapbooking so I thought I would add the color challenge into my scrapping. I decided to use a black and white photo because I could not find a color picture that would work with these colors. Also I have not made my PTI purchase yet so I did not have the Scarlett Jewel color but did find something very close. This pic is of my daughter at our recent trip to Panama City Beach Florida. I stamped the patterned paper and cut out Adore on the Cricut. You cannot see it well in the photo but I also used stickles along the edge of the patterned paper and on the Hibiscus Flowers and a Sakura Glitter Gel Pen. Looks fabulous in real life. Thanks for looking enjoy all of the amazing entries for the Challenge!
Cheers!

Crown

Good Friday Morning!!!! I got to sleep late this morning woooohooooo!!! It was so nice. Now a quick post and some house cleaning then I will be on my way to a great day. Yea me! This is the last card of the 5x7 that I made. I am sure this will end up being a Happy Birthday card for one of Graces friends but have not decided yet. I got out the trusty Cricut to make the crown. IRL it shimmers, all of it, the card stock and the bling on the crown. The cardstock base is American Crafts Vanilla, The patterned paper is DCWV. The purple is Stampin Up and I cannot for the life of me think of what the name of it is. I also used SU Barely Banana and PTI Shimmering Silver. The ribbon is PTI Plum Pudding and the bling is The Paper Studio rhinestones and pearls. Thanks so much for looking and I hope you like it. In my craft room this weekend I plan on scrapping pages. See you later!
Cheers!

Glitter Bird Card

How is that for a catchy title? LOL
Happy Happy Monday to YOU!!! Hope things are great. I had a good Monday so no complaints here. So this is the second post for my 5x7 cards. This one is my dd favorite. I was surprised by that cause I cannot decided if I like it or not. I mean I do but it is not my favorite I guess. I started out by corner rounding two of the edges then decided to put this on a bigger card because the bird accent was so large. I had already glued down all of the circles so I did NOT want to make more circles and glue them down so, i took the corner rounded edges and stitched around it, because, once i put the panel on a bigger card then it needed more pop. To hide the flaws around the corners i put a litter topper on. It needed something so I added some strips with the zig glue pen and added what? glitter of course! Well, I hope you like it. Thanks for looking and stopping by here today!!!!
Cheers!

Making Flowers

Hi Ya! Happy Sunday to you! Hope you enjoyed your day of rest. Other than walking 3 miles in the park today with the heat and 75% humidity my day was just lovely. My hubby helped me with the cleaning chores by cleaning the tubs and toilets! whoohoooo. My two least favorite things to clean. He is just the BEST! Then Friday night and Saturday was so much fun because we got to babysit Grandbaby Logan. He is soooooo sweet. I loved every minute.
A little while back I won 9 packs of different colors of American Crafts 5x7 Cards and Envelopes.
I never make that size card so I had be a little intimidated, I decided that was just enough of that and got those babies out. I will have some to show you all week. This first two are basically the same card but one I used flat flowers and one crumbled flowers. I just tore circles with some card stock and some, I waded up til I got tired of that, then just left the others. I broke out some polka dot paper and the Janome Mini and got crazy. Hope you like. Thanks for your visit!!!!!!!
Cheers!

Absolutely Fabulous Anya

Hello!!!
Happy Monday, I hope yours is well. My AIR CONDITION (in the house) is out! Arrrggg. It is H-O-T. But ya know what? It could be HOTTER but its not, it could be a huge deal, but its not, all we have to pay for is the service charge. The unit is still under warranty!!! God is good! And I got a new package in the mail today of some goodies to play with. So all in all, I can consider this a good day! Check out this Anya cutie. I love having scrappy, crafty friends. Either Angela or Tina let me stamp with her. I forget who since I have had her stamped for a little while now and either way they are both fabulous girls! Okay, I am gonna run, I need an Appletini to cool down LOL (green apple martini -yum). Thanks bunches for checking me out today!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge Week 11

Good Sunday Morning to you all!!!! I hope all of you in the USA had a FABULOUS 4th of July.
Here in Nashville, TN we got DRENCHED!!!! It rained sooooooo hard. I don't ever recall a 4th that it had rained. Regardless, we still had fun and the fireworks display was wonderful. In fact I just found out last night that Nashville is one of the top 5 states for fireworks display on the 4th!
Pretty cool I thought. So, on to the cards. I am in need of some thank you cards and I took the opportunity to make some fun ones with Dawn McVey's Color Challenge. Her mix of colors are always so fun. Here are two that I made. I wanted some texture so instead of stamping I decided to dry emboss them. Also I do not have light grey twine, ribbon, or thread so I just used a teeny tiny strip of paper to thread the button on the top card. I hope you have fun checking out all of the color challenge players. Thanks so much for stopping to look at mine. Have a great Sunday!
Cheers!
