Love to case

I totally cased this card from the new Stampin' Up catalog. I did not have all the SU products so
I used Close to my Heart stuff. Desert sand cardstock base with Indian Corn Blue, Taffy, and Blush cardstock randomly stamped. Then I stamped the work love with Homestead Alphabet
in desert sand. The dotted circle is from Its a Party stamped in ICB. The middle of the circle is stamped in Taffy using the Sensational Seals Stamp. I also stamped in white daisy pigment ink the "sewing stitches" and the flourishes on the blush. I hope you like this card too. TFL.

The Greatest Show on Earth!!

Posted by Picasa
These girls have got to be the craziest thing I have ever seen. I so wish you could have been there to see it. I really think they do not have bones. It was killing me to watch it. My back ached!!
Then this adorable tiger is named.....Julie just like me!! I felt so fierce. Juile was the only tiger that did not seem so grumpy. That man is insane for being locked up in a cage with roaring tigers. Even as an adult the circus is still so much fun to watch. I so enjoyed listening and watching Grace and her cousin Mia so excitedly talking about everything they were watching.
It is a little exhausting trying to watch 3 rings at one time. We had awesome seats, about 10 rows up right in the middle ring. Thanks Jim!!! I'm glad I got these pictures but it really makes me want a better camera. Anyway have a great Sunday!!!

Valentine is in the air

I had the day off today!! wooohoooo. So what is a girl to do on her day off? Stamp it like it's HOT!
I managed to get the house clean but said "fuget about it" on the grocery store. I was ready to play. The top card is made with patterned paper from The Paper Studio. the stamp is Living Large from Stampin' Up. (now retired) I colored her with cranberry marker from CTMH and used CTMH card stock. The circle is punched out and stamped using CTMH sensational seals.
Card two is probably my favorite. I took the layout from Kendra's card, You can see her original card on her website Inkin it up on my favorites list to the left. I used all CTMH products. I random stamped on the cranberry then used adhesive sheet to adhere the micro beads on the main image. I hope you like these too and get inspired. Have a great night!

True Fit Folio Accordion Album

Check this out!! I love this album. I got the directions from another CTMH consultant. How smart is Kelly English-Triggs??!! I am teaching this class at a workshop on February 9th.
This album uses all CTMH products. One true fit folio, part of a Level 2 My Reflections Kit,
My Stickease, Ribbon and Ink!! You can also add any kind of embellies that you want such
as ribbon, photo hangers, brads etc.. The true fit folio is 12x12 and it can be used for other
really cute projects as well. You just score it and lay it out flat the refold to make an accordion.
It is a lot of fun to make and fairly quick for how beautiful it is. I have also made this with CTMH
Simple Pleasures paper and it was even more beautiful. I am really looking forward to this
workshop I think the girls will be WOWed and so proud of themselves.

Thanks for stopping by today!!

My Girl

Okay, so my baby girl is now 9 YEARS OLD!!!! What?? Someone please tell me when that happened. Her birthday was last week but it is just now hitting me like, in the face,
a big smack. 9 years! she was just born, umm yesterday right? Anyway, I had to share this picture because this is what she does ALL THE TIME. Talks on the phone to her friend Karah while playing webkinz with her on the computer.I don't remember being on the phone all the time at 9 years old. What about you? What do you remember about being 9 years old?
This is the birthday card I made for her. She would totally be disappointed if I tried to give her a store bought card. LOL. It is made with CTMH Indian Corn Blue and Crystal Blue cardstock. Then random stamped on white card stock with the Star Struck stamps from CTMH. I also used the solos 9 and Delightful Alphabet from CTMH. She loved it as light blue is her favorite color of the moment. TFL

Here I am again. Day two of posting to my blog. Fun Stuff!!
I wanted to share some Valentine Day cards with you. The first one in red is made with CTMH white daisy rub ons wooohooo love those. Then I stamped the heart twice (from All My Love stamp set from CTMH) in red, cut one out on the outside lines then cut the second heart on the inside solid line. Put pop dot foam squares under the solid
heart for a 3-D look, added ribbon and viola a very simple but cute card. The white card is also from the All My Love stamp set from CTMH. I used a cuttle bug
folder to emboss half of the card then used a bone folder on the back to score
lines above the embossed circles. (i just lined up my paper in the track on my 12"
trimmer then traced along with the bone folder). The Happy Valentines Day is stamped with Vintage Valentine (CTMH) and I used a circle punch and two sizes of scallop punches and stamped "from the heart" also from All My Love (CTMH). It is popped up on foam dots as well.
Thanks for looking. I hope you enjoyed them. Let me know what you think!!
