No More Fall

Hidy Ho!!
The feeling of Fall sure did not last long around here in middle TN. It will really be late September/October before it truly feels like Fall. I know this. I guess I was wish full. Anywho...
I was inspired to try another Fall card. This layout was taken from Card Trends magazine on
page 110 by Roree Rumph. I loved the layout so I used stamps and paper that I had on hand.
I added the white faux stitching and dots with that {FAB-O} gellyroll pen in white that I love.
The pattern paper is CTMH Harvest pack. The CS is also CTMH Cocoa and New England Ivy.
The stamp set is CTMH Nature's Vein. The ribbon came in a multi pack from Lil' Davis that I
picked up for $1.00 at a CK convention 2 years ago. I hope you all enjoy your long holiday weekend. Thanks for coming to see me!!!!
Cheers!

It's Begining To Look a lot Like Fall!!

Oh, I am so excited. Here in middle TN it is starting to look and feel like fall. This is pretty early around here. I was so excited today to not have to turn on the air condition in the car on the way home from work. A very exhausting day at work that is!! ANYWHO...I got this stamp set from CTMH last year called Natures Vein. I never played with it much, so I got it out last week. I got this basic layout from over at SCS a while back. I changed a few things. I added some dots that always look so cute on MarkiesMom (SCS) cards. I FINALLY found a decent white pen to use. Just a gelly roll white pen! I have tried several. The paper is CTMH Enchanted patterned paper and cs is Garden Green, Smokey Plum as is the ink and Terracotta ink as well. The leaves were stamped off on scratch paper and the second generation was stamped on White Daisy cs then the veins were stamped in full color (first generation) onto the leaves. The sentiment is PTI and the bookplate is SU hodgepodge antique brass. I hope to be playing around again soon with this set. Thanks for the visit today!!!
Cheers!

August Blog Hop

Our Goal for this Blog Hop was to come up with something creative using a CD case. That was a little tougher that I first imagined. I wanted to come up with something off the wall. But I looked over at my collection of mini albums and decided on that. I was surprised at how much the CD case would hold. PTI paper is THICK (and yummy) then I added embellishments including buttons!! The entire album is 6 pages. I used the Pink Paper collection and Its a Celebration stamps. This was a lot of fun to work on and came together fairly quickly.

Here is the CD case open then you can pull out the entire accordion album

Here is the CD case closed. It closes well despite the 3-D elements on the layouts.
Here is the accordion album open. It fits just inside at 4 1/2'' x 4 1/2''
Here is the other side of the album. It is interesting and sad to look at her birthday photos in a group you really get an idea of how fast our kids grow. It was fun to look through them all and

reminisce. Grace loved looking at them all too. I think this is now her album!

Thanks for looking! Be sure to check out the PTI forum for a list of all the Blog Hop participants.
I had a little problem getting my photos in order. sorry.

Cheers!

BRIGHT!!!

hellooo???? Can you read this from the brightness of this card?? LOL This card was inspired from a challenge at SCS Inspiration Challenge IC142 we had to pick an umbrella to be inspired by. I thought this umbrella was very playful so I wanted to make the card playful too. I just happend to have these loud colors already in patterned paper so I went with it. You cannot tell in the pic but the glitter is pink like on the card. I colored in with Bubblegum CTMH Marker then used Crystal Stickles so the pink shows through. It has been cloudy here today so maybe that is why I could not get a good pick. Anywho you get the idea that it is shiny. The dragonfly is CTMH set called Flutter and the sentiment I picked from TAC called Life is Short. I love that set as it has all kinds of sentiments you can pair with "life is too short..." Thanks for visiting me. I hope you are not blinded by the bright. teehee. Have a fabo Saturday. We are off the Nashville Sounds baseball game with friends. And Grandbaby Logan will be there too!! Yea baby love!!
Cheers!

another limited supplies challenge

Hi Ya'll!!!
I took on another challenge at SCS this one is LSC182. We had to dig out stamps and paper that we have not used in a long time. Since Halloween will be coming up soon I decided to get out the Carved and Candlelit set by SU. I also used SU designer paper. I used the paper last Halloween for layouts but the stamps I do believe have not been used for two Halloweens! This is a super simple and quick card to make. I punched the faces out with the CM circle punch however the next punch size to mat it is a little too large so I hand cut out the mat. I used all SU products including Pumpkin Pie and Black ink. TFL. Hope this inspires you to start thinking of Halloween. I have noticed some stores are getting there costumes and decorations out! NOT to mention Christmas decorations out already!! Whew, can we say "hurry the season"?
Have a SUPER DUPER FRIDAY!!!!!

Snowman challenge

Hi Ya! Last week on SCS there was a limited supplies challenge LSC181 to use snowmen. Here is what I came up with. Very simple. I used the snowman from CTMH Magical Season and colored him a little with CTMH markers. I cut him out with CM circle cutting system and then punched the final mat out with my Marvy scallop punch that I just {heart} so much. I used BasicGrey paper that I also {heart} so much and big fat satin Chocolate ribbon. Do not have the maker of that ribbon however. So super simple but I like it. TFL!! Have a GREAT Thursday!

I miss my camera

Hello All!! Well, hubby is back home however he left the camera at work. so I still cannot take pics of all the scrappy things I did this weekend. I did find a card I did a while back. I got the premise from SCS I changed the stamp set and the colors. I sure wish I still had the info of the original card so I could give credit to you. All products are Close to my Heart except for the jewel brads which I got at the dollar spot at Tarjey!

We went to the Wilson Co Fair today. I love that fair. My sister talked me into ridding the "scrambler" I KNEW BETTER. I did had not plan on ridding any rides, I did not even buy any tickets. As a nice couple was leaving the fair they gave us their left over tickets. OH Boy! AND I had not taken and Dramamine for motion sickness. Well, I did manage to keep the vomit down but I was D-O-N-E with the whole dang fair after that. I had to go find shade and sit there for a while to recover. Never again I tell ya! I will have some pics though, my sister took her camera.
Thanks for the visit, Please come back I will have more to share!

Hi There! I have another prego card for you today. I made this one for my friend Erin at work. This girl really looks like Erin! She is one of the many girls at work that are pregnant. I used the How Swell set from TAC. The paper is PTI Stampers select white, SU Real Red and DCWV blue. The ribbon is Off Ray from Joann. I colored her with LePlum II markers and CTMH markers I outlined her with a grey Prismacolor Marker. The polka dots were make using PolkaDot Basics from PTI. That is all I have today. I have made some more crafty goodness today but DH took the camera with him today so I have no way to share! Silly man, didn't he know I would be craftin' it up today with DD in school and me in the house all by myself???

Sexy Hanna

Helllooooo! Whats up? Today I wanted to share a card I made for a friend to give to her boyfriend for his birthday. He likes to hunt hence the camouflage paper. This Hanna is just too
cute. (my friend Angela let me make images with hers! thanks Angela!! ;-) Hanna looks like
Lindsay with her cute figure and short hair. I had to make it multi colored like Lindsay's LOL
and Lindsay also has great big blue eyes.
I colored her dress and accessories with prismacolor markers and her skin with Copic. The
flower is PaperStudio and you cannot tell from the pic but the dots were white and i colored
them with green to match the camouflage. For the sentiment I just typed it up in word and
printed it on cs. That's all I have for now. Have a FANTASTIC day!
Cheers!

Yo Ho Ho Matey!!

Hello All! Well even with the new grandbaby here I did manage to get a little crafting done. Here is my card for MojoMonday this one is from July 28th but better late than never right? You should check out her blog as she has some awesome card sketches! I made this one using my new The Angel Company stamps called Playful Pirates. I absolutely ADORE this set. I guess number 1 reason is because Grace loves all things Pirates right now. I used CTMH Black ink and cardstock. The white and Berry Sorbet is the deliciously thick cs from PTI. I cannot tell you where I got that ribbon it was a remnet let over from ??? Thanks for checking me out today!
Cheers!

Baby Bling

We have so many girls at work that are pregnant it makes one scared to drink the water! LOL but I get a chance to make cards for them all so here is one. I used TAC How Swell stamp set. I also incorporated this to a challenge at SCS Ways to use it challenge using bling. I put some blink made by Paper Studio on her hat and as a clasp on her bag then some in the circles. The card stock is DCWV that I had long forgotten I had. I got it out of a clearance bin (the cover was missing) at a CK convention many moons ago. I paper pieced her shirt and colored her with LePlum markers. TFL!

Old School

WOW look what I pulled out of my stash. I made this card many moons ago. I used SU Not Quite Navy and Close to Cocoa. I don't know what kind of white paper I used. The Light House stamp is also by SU long time retired Coast to Coast. The ink i used was Archival Ink (Sepia) by Ranger. Love that ink pad. I the background stamp is See the World by Stampabilities. I thought it was a great masculine card and it was one of my first when i just started this insane stamping hobby. Anyway glad my computer is working with me today. I sure hate to have another fit. TeeHee. I dont handle malfunctions very well. Thanks for the visit I hope to have new stuff real soon.

Scrap Challenge

Woohooo. Its Friday!! I have a quick post before I go get DD registered for school. WOW were did the summer go? Anywho, I have been loving these challenges at SCS. This one we had to use
scraps. I found this piece of emerging color I tried from a long time ago using the SU Watercolor Garden. I never put it to use and figured it as time. I cannot remember the exact colors I used because it was a long time ago. I grabbed a piece of Plum Pudding from PTI ran it through the cuttlebug swiss dot folder. Made a little scallop piece from the ole stash and I already had the ribbon tied and ready from a card gone bad but decided to keep the ribbon ;-)
the sentiment is another PTI Garden of Life. Thanks for looking I hope you all have a Fantabulous weekend!!
Cheers!
