Hello!! Welcome to my project for the
PTI September
Bloghop! Click

participants click
here and then click on September. There is so much creativity in the
PTI world. I feel lucky to have found this great company. So, My project focuses on a gift for the Christmas Party Hostess. I first started with a 4 pack of
Jones Soda and
OMG can I just first tell you how dang good Jones soda is??? It is THE best soda I have ever
had. It is made of pure sugar cane and it is
DEFINITELY a dessert and should not be paired with your meal
LOL! Click on the link above and find out fun little facts about Jones Soda Company. Okay on to the project... I covered the carrier with
PTI Kraft paper and my favorite detail I put on this project is the
faux hardware. I punched out
lable punches from
SU in
PTI Dark Chocolate cs then added brads to make it look like hinges. I decorated the front of the carrier with Boards and Beams and Home for the Holidays stamp sets, colored them in with various markers
CTMH,
Prisma and Creative Memories. Then each bottle was cleaned and filled with different snacks. I used mixed nuts, pastel mints and M&M's. You could and SHOULD just
give the Jones Soda!! The
recipient would love you for it. I decorated each bottle using
PTI stamps Made of Snow, Rustic Branches, Rustic Snowflakes and Merry & Bright. I had started this project before my Pure Poppy cs came in so I used
SU real red. I did use Pure Poppy ribbon though. I also used some green saddle stitch ribbon I got at
JoAnn on clearance after Christmas.
One reason I used Jones Soda is because the tops are twist off therefore making it PERFECT for
reusing. I ran ribbon around each cap and then punched a circle for the very top of the cap. This is such a fun project to do and you can fill the bottles with just about anything such as lotions and soaps and bath crystals. Also
scrapbooking goodies like paperclips, buttons, brads and
rhinestones. I have to confess however, I got the premise of this idea on a TV show a couple of years ago. Hope you enjoyed it, I am off to check out all of the other projects!
Cheers!
