July PTI Blog Hop

Thanks for checking out my entries for the PTI July Blog Hop. Man was this ever a challenge for me. I am not a vellum user. It just intimidates me. So here is my feeble attempt. I decided to post both of these because the both took a lot of time and deserve their 15 mins of fame! LOL
card one uses Boards and Beams and Guidelines. I did stamp the house on the linen vellum (New this month at PTI) but you cannot tell from the pick mostly because I also layered a traditional piece of vellum over it to soften the colors. By the way the linen vellum is very kewl. It accepts ink so well and it is very sturdy yet still transparent. I colored the house with CTMH markers. I love coloring the houses in this set. The second card I made with PTI Plum Pudding and Lavender Moon. I again used linen vellum and ran a piece through the cuttlebug in two different folders. I stamped on another piece of linen vellum in Plum Pudding using the Bird of a Feather set then turned it over for the more muted look. Completed the sentiment on regular vellum with silver dew drops. Thanks again for stopping by. Please be sure to check out all the other entries get the addresses on the PTI forum.
PS: another super big challenge today was taking a decent pic. It was ranny today here in Nashville. So the pics are not good. sorry!
Cheers!

Well, they definitely deserve 15 minutes each (hehe). Darn, you used two sets that I don't have! You are such a tease.

If you don't normally use vellum you should. Your cards are fantastic!! I love how you used three layers of vellum on one card and the softness it gave the house on the other card is yummy!

I know what you mean grace...vellum intimidates me too! But once i got started I couldn't stop. I kept using it all week :-) And it looks like you also got over your fear of using it cause these are great cards. I really like your bird card. The cuttled sections look great with that focal image! Your pics totally show off that awesome linen vellum. Thanks for the inspiration!!
