June PTI Blog Hop

HI!!! Thanks for coming to see my PTI Blog Hop entry. I was so excited to give this challenge a try. We were to come up with a project using transparency. Well, that can just go in so many directions. The first card I did I took the thick transparency sheet that PTI stamps are stuck to when you first purchase them, before you transfer them to the CD cases. I thought that was a great thickness to make my very own ghost letters!!! I used the cuttlebug die alphabet set "your not the boss of me" and ran the letters b a b y through the cuttlebug. (This was so fun to do that I got side tracked and made more letters, those projects will come later) I highlighted the letters with the cats eye chalk ink pad so you could see them better on the project, let that dry and attached to the card using CTMH liquid glass. I absolutely ADORE the Bitty Baby Blessings stamp set and patterned paper that I used for that card also. The card stock used was Summer Sunrise and Spring Moss and Lemon Tart.
Well, I just wasnt finished playing with the transparency. I then decided to make another card. This time I used overhead projector transparency and swiped the Plum Pudding and Lavender Moon hybrid ink pad across the transparency then folded the paper to "smoosh" it. This is not a new technique but it was the first time I tried it with hybrid ink and I have to say I loved it because it dried so quickly compared to re-inkers. I then stamped with the Flower Garden and Honey Bee's stamp set and the sentiment from Flower Garden Sentiments with Staz-On Black ink directly onto the opposite side of the transparency. I added some fake dew drops (that is why I used so many ;-). Then layered Plum Pudding and Summer Sunrise cs onto that Bitty Baby Blessings patterned paper that I love so much. Oh, I also attached the transparency to white cs with liquid glass. Love that stuff since it dries clear! Again, thanks for visiting, I hope you like my projects. I am off to look at all the other girls projects too!!!
