I Heart You

HI there!!! Happy Sunday to you!! Hope you are having a great one. Sorry that is has been a minute since I posted last. I have been pouting the last few days and havent felt very crafty. I got braces on Thursday which was also my daughter birthday. So we have been busy with birthday stuff and feeling sorry for myself! HA man, my mouth hurts! But actually today I THINK I am showing signs that it will get better soon! Anyway, I made yet another Valentine card. This layout was inspired by a card Dawn McVey did but I did everything else different. I used some more of those Reminisce stickers and my handy dandy Cricut to cut out the scallop circles. So lately I have been REALLY liking what I am seeing/hearing with the Sure Cuts A Lot. Do any of you have one? If so please let me know what you think of it. I am trying to put myself on a buying freeze for a while but I may let myself get this if it is worth it. Alrighty then, I am ready to curl up in a warm blanket on the sofa with my book. C U soon, thanks for visiting!
Cheers!

Hey Julie, I have a SCAL program.. and it's great.... There is an infinite number of things you can download off the internet.... They have upgraded it twice since I purchased in November...so it keeps getting better and better. I love your card...you have such a great style. Don't see how you had any creative mojo with all that pain. You must be one tough cookie!!!

I heart this card! It's so vibrant! I have SCAL that I bought a couple of weeks ago. I think it will be fabulous once I figure out how to get my templates to import into it right. I made a heart shaped card in SCAL and it was so easy! It will make your cricut more versatile and will save you some money on cartidges since there are so many free and low cost .svg files out there.

Oh, I got my SCAL from Canda Crafts--that's the cheapest I found it when I bought my copy. I'm hearing good things about SCAL's competition called Make the Cut.

wonderful card! I have SCAL and I love it. It really broadens how you can use your Cricut.

You have been on a Valentine roll....good for you! I'm sorry I've been MIA for a bit. I need to get something up soon. I've just been in a creative funk (that I seriously need to pull myself out of!!). But, I've missed visiting and seeing your smiling face, so I thought I'd stop by! :>

Hope your mouth feels better soon!!

How did I miss this card Julie!! Love your take on it!! ANd love that you added some blue to it!!
Well I hope it's blue, it looks like blue. Destiny said thank you for the birthday shout out!! I hope your mouth gets better!! Destiny wore invislines for a 1 1/2, she still has to wear her retainers at night and it looks just like her invislines!! She didn't have to wear the metal ones, but they still hurt her!! Everytime she got a new pair it would take her about a week to get use to them!!
Hugs:)
