Hello There! Hope your weekend has been FAB so far. Everything was going well until the Titans lost the playoff game today :-( Oh well, that's life. Anywho..... I wanted to share a card I made for our blogger group over at SCS. The first challenge is to create a Valentines Day card using anything EXCEPT Red, Pink or White. I decided to go monochromatic with purple. I used Bazzil textured card stock and PTI Love Notes stamp set. I stamped the little hearts on the top panel with CTMH Pansy Purple as well as the sentiment and the X's and O's. I stamped the platter of hearts and cut it out then mounted with dimensionals. I lined each heart with the sakura glitter gel pen. The little rhinestones I found in the $1.00 spot at Target. They may actually be for cell phone bling! That is pretty much it. I wont be here tomorrow as my sweet hubby is running a 50K in the am!!!!!!!! WOW that is 31 miles. He just turned 50 years old this past Wednesday and his goal was to run a 50K for his 50th birthday and the crazy man is going for it! He has several people meeting him at different points along the way so he wont be by himself much. He is running to down town Nashville to meet friends and family at the Broadway Brewhouse. I think the last thing I'd want after running like that would be a beer but, that is a man for ya huh? Hope
you have a great tomorrow!!
Cheers!

This is adorable Julie and fits the challenge to a tee. How did you husband do at the 50K - I hope well - congratulations to him for taking that leap. My husband has ran several marathons and I am still amazed at anyone who takes on the running challenge.
Julie, I love this card! I am still trying to figure out what I'm going to do for the blogger Jan card challange but you are inspiring me. It is a super cute card! (and wow, on the 50k. Hope he enjoy it!)
