Sweet and Easy

Hello! Happy Monday. Hope all is well. This was my first day of my new better job. Things went well. I think i will really like it. I better, because i dont need to be switching around any more! LOL By the way...Grace and I did better with the fair prize money than we thought. I got a total of $7.00 for second place and she got a total of $15.00 $10.00 for first and $5.00 for 3rd.
woohooo. She loved it and is planning on entering even more categories next year!
So, for today's card I used the Mojo sketch Mojo Friday turns 100. Gosh, i forget who made the patterned paper but I bought it at Precious Scraps. I want to say My Minds Eye. It paired perfectly with PTI Ocean Tides. My super sweet friend Gina let me use this stamp. I dont know the name of it or the company for that matter, but she sure is cute. I colored her with Prisma and Copics. The super cute tiny flower buttons (and the button on the ribbon) are from PTI as is the ribbon and jute. I am off to make spaghetti and meatballs. You have a great night!
Cheers!

Popsicle Pinquin

Hi There!!

Thanks so much for coming by today. I am still trying to get into the swing of things. Still come catching up to do AND dh is still working on the kitchen floor. Gosh love that man, poor baby, every time he starts a project something terrible happens. So a fairly simple tile project turned into at least 10 trips to Lowes and cutting into a water line where the washing machine goes and so on. so my stove and washer/dryer and in my living room floor and my refrigerator is in front of the front door, seems so odd to head out like I am going outside to get milk from the fridge.
Annnnyyyyway. Here is a simple little card I made from my friend Gina's Penguin stamp and Popsicle stamp. A friend gave me the super cute Popsicle ribbon and I totally LOVE pink and orange for summer. I used PTI White, True Black and Raspberry Fizz cardstock with CTMH Orange cardstock. I also used Copic and Prisma Color Markers and the Fiskars Threading Water Punch. Thanks again for stopping by, have an awesome night folks!
Cheers!

Dad You Totally Rock!

WOW! Long time no see. Sorry I have been away. Things are so busy here right now. I just finished the first layer of glitter on the stars we are making for the dance recital. I have them outside drying now so I am praying it doesn't rain!!!! I hope you all have enjoyed your week. I have had a couple of request from people at work that they need fathers day cards. Most of them want some that they can give to thier hubbies from the kids. So this card came to my mind. I pulled some flame photos off of the Internet and traced one out onto Real Red Stampin' UP! cardstock. It looked a little plain so I dragged the white and black ink pads down the flames for some dimension. That kickin' font is Excalibur SF. I did not have stamps of this sentiment nor did I have this font in stamps so I just typed it in word and printed it onto white PTI cardstock. The True Black cardstock is also PTI. The skull stamp is TAC Playful Pirates. So cute, that is probably one of my fav stamp sets. I colored his patch and do rag with a red Prisma Color marker. Got more things on the to do list so I need to run. THANKS SO MUCH for your visit today. I hope you enjoyed it.
Cheers!

Grandbaby's Valentine Card

Hola Senoras' and Senoritas'
Hope you all are having a wonderful Saturday. Mine has been just great, the house was already clean except for a few loads of laundry (how does it accumulate so dang fast???). I got to meet my 5 very best girlfriends for lunch today. It was awesome how we all managed to have a Saturday free at the same time and on just a moments notice! Well, on to todays card I want to share. This Valentine card is for my precious grandbaby Logan. He is only 5 months old but I am sure he will love to look at the vibrant colors...so much so that he will try to eat it (he is trying to cut some teeth) teehee. I did not have any paper that had these colors in it (shock!!) I thought I had everything. So, what is a crafty girl to do other than make her own. I made the stripe paper with my Prismacolor Markers and the orange is Copic Ciao Marker making some imperfect lines. Then for the pattern I used the lined star from Reach for the Stars from CTMH and the solid star and heart from Around and About by PTI. For the sentiment I used PTI again Heart Prints I did have to mask off ( 's) from Valentine. That super cute UFO is CTMH Reach for the Stars. I used my Copic markers to color it in. I still need lots of practice with Copics but, I am having fun in the process. The red cardstock is PTI Pure Poppy the Orange is CTMH and the blue I got from my stash and I think it is Hobby Lobby. So anyway, I have rambled long enough. Got to start dinner. It is an early bed time tonight as we have another dance competition alllll day long tomorrow. Thanks for the visit!! I appreciate your time.
Cheers!
