Good Evening to you all! I hope you have a safe and happy New Year's Eve!
Wanted to share this little card I made with my COPIC markers I got for Christmas from DH.
This is the first time I have used copics (well I had one skin color does that count?) I love, love
love them. This image from Hanna I borrowed from Angela...thanks girl! Isn't she just the cutest? I made this one for my friend Kathy for her birthday tomorrow 1-1-09! I stamped it onto PTI Vintage Cream then matted it with CTMH Crystal Blue the large mat piece is a shiny
silver metallic from JoAnn. I don't remember the brand and the pattern paper is a scrap piece
from a couple of Christmas cards I did and I THINK the brand is My Minds Eye. Snowflake punch is Martha Stewart. Well, I need to go get ready for game night at my cousins house. Take
care and be safe!
Cheers!

Remembering To Thank You #2
Hi there All!
Hope you have had a great Monday! Getting back to work after a long holiday weekend? Yesterday I case a card from the featured stamper over at SCS. While I was in the craft room I decided to make another one but just a tiny bit different. I used my fabulous Fiskars Threading Water Punch for the scallops and all the same colors and products from last post. On this card however, I added some fabulous Satin ribbon from PTI in Ocean Tides. I also stamped and cut out an unopened Poppy and added it to the middle of the ribbon. I like the way that turned out. Well, that is all for this little gem. Thank you for visiting please do come again!
Cheers!

Remembering To Thank You
Hello!!
Still playing with my new camera. Trying to figure out where/how is the best way to take pics of cards so please bear with me for a while. This card I am sharing today was a case from FS99 over at SCS I cased her card here. It was a fun little card. To play along you have to change at least two things about the original card. I changed the colors to Pure Poppy and Ocean Tides by PTI and I used Black from DCWV and SU White. I changed the stamp set to PTI Remember and the sentiment as well, also Remember. I also used CM circle punch and SU scallop punch. Hope you all are enjoying the end of your weekend. I am off to pick up the house a little before I watch the Titans play today!! Wooohooo GO TITANS!! Thanks so much for coming over today!!
Cheers!

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you all!!!
I got a new camera!!!!! Wooooooohoooooo, I totally was not expecting it either. I LOVE it. I am having fun learning about its functions right now. I took this picture today. OMG. Isn't it the sweetest! This is baby Logan and my grandfather which would make him Logan's GREAT GREAT grandfather! Well, technically (step great, great grandfather) but we don't have to be technical do we? I could not believe PawPaw got down on the floor just to play with this little angel. He had a hard time getting up but, I think he thought it was worth it! I will cherish this photo always! I hope the rest of you had a wonderful Christmas. I have another day tomorrow with my in-laws. Yeah! All 7 of the brothers and sisters are in town so with their spouses and children we will have a total of 27 people in one 3 bedroom house! Whoa!! That is a lot of peeps to cram in one place. I am really excited it about it though, I love every single one of my in-laws. I know we will have a ton of fun. Thanks for the visit today!

Fiskars Goodie Box Layout
Here is a layout I made with some of the goodies in my Fisk-A-Teer package from last post. This is my friend at work and her new hubby when they got married in Jamaica last month. I made a few scrapbook pages for her. It was fun to not do a traditional wedding. All of the products are from the Snowflake Park kit by Heidi Grace except the base page which is Bamboo from CTMH. I followed a similar layout from a magazine somewhere but I cannot find it now so I cannot tell you from which magazine, sorry! That is all I have to share today. It will be a few days before I am back. Have a Merry Christmas!
Cheers!

Are You a Fisk-A-Teer?
I believe Fiskars has to be one of the most generous companies I know. If you look a few blog posts down you will see my post about the Fisk-A-Friendzy event. Anyway, if you are a Fisk-A-Teer you can talk on the message boards and play along with contests and challenges and they give away stuff ALL THE TIME!! So I have not won anything from them before on the message boards so they had some give aways for that! Just win something for never winning before! A couple of days ago I get this package in the mail! Holy Cow it is the entire line of Snowflake Park from Heidi Grace. WOW! It is a delicious kit, flocked and foil papers, chip board, rubons, colored "ghost" shapes, ribbon, stickers, etc. It was a plethora of stuff I tell ya, and don't be fooled just because it says Snowflake Park, I made a layout of the beach with this kit! Check out the Fisk-A-Teer boards and become a member today, It costs NOTHING!! I will share that tomorrow probably. DH just put dinner on the table so gotta run. I love him for that!!!
Cheers!

Little Guy Birthday
Hidy HO!!!!
Today I played along with the Featured Stamper98 over at SCS. I chose this card from Paula's gallery. Go check out her gallery if you can. Lots of inspiration there. To play you are to change at least two things from the original card. I changed the colors, stamp set, used scallop rectangles
and used a paper strip instead of ribbon then added a little bit-o-bling. I think this would be a cute bday card for a little guy. I used CTMH new set Reach For the Stars and Happy Birthday. I colored the image with color pencils and gamsol. I drew Stardust Sakura glitter ink around the smoke although you cannot see it in the pic. I used my handy dandy score pal to make the lines on the Indian Corn Blue card stock. I mounted that onto Sweet Leaf cs. then stamped image onto PTI Stampers Select White. I added some stars from Jenni Bowlin Studios. Well, thanks for the visit today! Hope you have a terrific tomorrow!!!
Cheers!

Wedding Day
Happy Friday!! Gosh, can you believe how close it is to Christmas??? Remember when you were a kid and it to FOR-EV-ER for Christmas to get here. Our parents were so right when they said the older you get the faster time flies. sheesh!
Anyway off that topic for a minute I have a wedding card to share. It is SUPER simple and fast. I started with PTI Stampers Select White and stamped the little flourish from Wedding Day on one side of the card. Then ran some beautiful Spring Moss Satin ribbon down the edge. I stamped the large oval then cut it out by hand, I could not find an oval cutter the same size. I raised it on pop dots after adding the sentiment and another little flourish. All of the stamps are from Wedding Day. That is it, viola`. Thank you for coming to see me. I love that you are here. Have a super Friday!
Cheers!

Best Wishes
Hi Everybody!! Thanks for coming by today. I wanted to share this card I made from a sketch by Our Creative Corner. I have been having lots of fun playing with the new CTMH Cupcake Sprinkles set. I paired it with the scrumptious card stock and Polka Dot Parade pattern paper from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is also PTI Let's Celebrate. The colors are Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet. I punched the circle of the sentiment with Creative Memories Circle Punch and the scallop circle is Stampin' Up! I believe that ribbon is SU that I saved from a bad card a while back. This was a fun little sketch. I followed it to the T. Hope you find time to give it a try also. Enjoy your day tomorrow, I HOPE to finish Christmas shopping after work! (fingers crossed)

No Place Like Home For The Holidays
Hello All!! Happy Friday wooohooo. DD school was closed today for snow?!?!? We had maybe 1/4 inch. Anyway I am happy to spend time with her. Today I am sharing a shaped card I made. I used the Curved Rectangles Spellbinder Die 2nd to largest one. I stamped Snowfall stamp set from PTI in CTMH White pigment ink all over CTMH Cranberry card stock. I stamped Boards and Beams then colored it in and added Home for the Holiday pieces in the windows, door, snow around the trim after coloring and cutting them out. I also stamped a little Christmas tree and raised it on pop dots. Added the little sentiment and hand cut some snow for the bottom of the house and that was it. On the inside of the card I cut a smaller rectangle shape in white for my handwritten message. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Well, gonna run DD and I are running to WallyWorld. Have a great Friday!

Vintage Christmas Card
Afternoon Everyone! Hope you have enjoyed your Thursday. I spent mine cleaning house and washing clothes, I live the life of a princess I tell ya! LOL. Hey, in today's world I am thankful to have a house to clean! I made a little ditty of a Christmas card I want to share. I used all CTMH products except for the ribbon which is JoAnns. I started out with Vintage Travel paper pack used Vintage Christmas stamp set. That has to be one of my all time fav stamp sets so far. Seems like I say that alot. I distressed each layer with CTMH Edge Distressor. My favorite part about this card is the cream color piece which originally looks like an old hand written letter, I stamped Christmas all over it. Then I stamped the Christmas tree image and cut it out. Next I stamped the holly and berries, cut it out and raised it on pop dots. I inked the edges to each piece and viola` I had myself a vintage Christmas card. Colors used: Cocoa, Olive, Cranberry all CTMH and the edges were inked with Ranger Archivers Ink in sepia. Thanks for looking at my card. Hope you enjoyed it. Have a great night!

Oh Christmas Tree!
Hidy Crafty McCraftersens!!!
Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday. It is chilly here but it is so sunny and beautiful! Today I am sharing a card i made last week. I used Papertrey Ink Holiday Vintage patterned paper (polka dots) and for the argyle paper I stamped that with CTMH Argyle Backgrounds stamp set.
The tree was stamped with PTI Merry and Bright the dark green ribbon is JoAnn I think, The light green ribbon is Spring Moss from PTI as is the Pure Poppy red and the White. I stamped the tree and stamped a second one on scratch paper then cut out and added on top of the other tree with pop dots. The sparkly looking brads are stickles. The Merry Christmas sentiment is also PTI from Silent Night. Thanks so much for looking. I had an above average crafty weekend. I got LOTS of stuff done. That makes me soooo happy. I also got to spend time with my friends Gina and Angela at Gina's craft day at her church. I just wish I could have been there longer! Thank you so much for visiting. I sure hope you have a great day!
Cheers!

Glisten
Good Friday Morning!!!
Note to self. Take a photography class! This card is so pretty IRL. The card stock is PTI Gold Shimmer and that beautiful ribbon is also PTI. I just can not get a good pic this am. This was for a challenge over a SCS for limited supplies. Your creation can only be snowflakes and bling that is it! and only one sentiment. I used glisten, I stamped it in Vintage Cream ink then sprinkled glitter over it. It does look good IRL but it did not come out in the pic, this is the only stamp on the card. The snowflakes are a punch from Martha Stewart. Super easy. Oh, the glitter and bling is CTMH. TFL! Enjoy your Friday
Cheers!

Finally Got Around To....
...finishing what I started. Do you remember me posting these back in October? Well, I finally got around to making the folder to put them in. I made it for Grace to give to her teacher. Well, I forgot somehow that this year, 4th grade, that they switch classes/periods. So she has 4 teachers. I decided to make two folders and divided these cards so each folder has 4 cards and 4 envelopes. The other two teachers get a handmade necklace or bracelet made by Grace. She is very exited to make these as these two teachers where VERY impressed with her jewelry making skills when she modeled her stuff one day. To decorate the folders I used the same paper pack as I did with the cards, Life Delights. The cardstock used was Chocolate Chip from SU because it has a nice weight to it for durability. That awesome teacher stamp fit the theme perfectly. It is a new set from PTI called Teachers Apple. I am excited to work more with this set, seems it has lots of possibilities. Thanks so much for your visit. Have a great day!!!

...And a Christmas Card
Hidy-ho!
Hope you all had a Great Thanksgiving. I am still going. Had dinner today with my mom's family, dinner tomorrow with hubby's family and dinner Sunday with dad's family. Whew, how is a girl to not gain 5 pounds in one weekend? That leaves Saturday free for me, if I don't have a total wreck of a house I am gonna get my scrap on!! (fingers crossed).
I'm gonna share this card with you. I used PTI Vintage Holiday Pattern Paper, Pure Poppy and Stampers Select white cs by PTI and SU Always Artichoke. The Stamp set is PTI Snowfall Additions. I don't have the punch that goes with this stamp so I hand cut it out...I REALLY need that punch! I added a little stickles on the snowflake for sparkle and pizazz, you can see it better IRL. The ribbon is PTI Spring Moss grosgrain (I totally {heart} that ribbon). Hope you like it. See you soon! Thanks so much for coming by here!!
Cheers!

November PTI Blog Hop
HI!!Thanks for looking at my project for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. This month we were to create anything we wanted using flowers. Check out blog hop info here then you can click here to get to the forum and find a list of participants. It has been talked about on the forum before and I have actually done it several times, I stamped my own wrapping paper. I went with the Floral Frenzy stamp set from PTI and I decided to try out the Stamping Station I won at the Fisk-a-Friendzy a couple of weekends ago. We lovingly call him "Franky" because it looks like the Frankenstein from Franken Berry cereal LOL! I wanted to make enough that I would have left overs and the Stamping Station was just the ticket because all you do is load any clear stamp onto the plate load the ink cartridge and just stamp away. You do not have to stamp, reink, stamp etc. you juststamp move it stamp and keep going, making it extremely easy and fast. It only takes a second to change colors and or stamp then keep on going. I ran a roll of paper across the table making it super easy to create a large piece you could easily do this on a hardwood floor also. Floral Frenzy is one of my favorite stamps of PTI that I have, it can go in so many directions. Of course you cannot give a gift with out a card, matching card that is. So here they are. Thanks so much for looking. I hope you get to see all of the PTI Blog Hoppers projects.

Whew! Busy Weekend
Sorry it has been a minute since I posted last, I had a really busy weekend. Baby Logan spent the night with us Friday night and most of the day Saturday. Look at him, is he not PRECIOUS!
I have forgotten how hard it is to get things done when a baby is around. But I enjoyed every second of it. I have several cards to share but they are going in a contest so I don't want to post them just yet. Wish me luck though. I also went to see Twilight with my sister and niece. I need to see it again because we had to sit pretty close because it was JAMMED PACKED in that theatre. Teeny Boppers were EVERYWHERE they were funny though, did I act that silly when I was a teenager??? yeah, probably! I do want to see it again to concentrate more and no back ground noise and not so up in my face. Anywho here is one card I will share today. I got the stripped idea from Cards Magazine. The emboss resist I did on a card previously but I used purple ink and white embossing powder instead of clear. The purple is Plum Pudding and Lavender Moon. I used Snowfall stamps all from PTI. The snowflake punch is Martha Stewart. Thanks for making your way over here today. Hope you have a wonderful Monday and I see you again soon!
Cheers!

4 Generations Layout
Hello There!!!
Hope you are interested in seeing a scrap page today. I wish I could have captured a better pic but oh well you get the gist. I used some fun Cosmo Cricket paper pack that comes with some punch out embellishments and large monogram letters. For the scalloped edge I used Fiskars Threading Water Punch. Love that punch. I did not have a stamp in the size I wanted for my #4
so I computer generated one then cut it out on Cosmo Cricket cs. Generations was stamped with CTMH Chocolate Alphabet set then I cut out each letter. This one took a little time but I like how it turned out. The ink I borrowed from my friend Tina I know it was Dew Drop brand but I have no idea what color. Thanks for coming to visit today. Gotta run to get my girl. Have a great rest of the day!
Cheers!

so I computer generated one then cut it out on Cosmo Cricket cs.
Cheers!

Daddy Love
Happy Tuesday Evenin' Folks!!!
I hope you all are doing well. Today I wanted to share a page layout I did at the Fiskateer event.
This is my most favorite picture ever so far. I love how bright and sunny it was outside. I love how much love is showing from daddy to daughter. Our daughter Grace is just so sweet it makes my heart ache sometimes. mush mush I know..sorry.. For this layout I used CTMH Magic Moments Paper, the smaller flowers are Paper Studio, I have no idea where the bigger flowers came from. I have had them forever and a day. The large pink brads in the middle of the flowers
are JoAnn brand. I stamped and cut out Rustic Alphabet stamps from CTMH for "daddy". I journaled just a tad and backed that small strip of cs with SU ribbon. Thats it. Easy Peasy. Thanks so much for coming to see me today. I hope you are inspired!
Cheers!

Matching Card and My Saturday
O..M..G.. you guys. What a SUPER FUN Saturday I had. I am a member of a group named The Fisk-a-teers. Just a group of around 6 thousand girls and boys that love Fiskars products. The Fiskars leaders decided to come to 5 cities around the USA and good ole' Nashville was one of the chosen ones!!! Me and a few friends signed up immediately and I am sooooo glad I did. We had crop day like no other that I have ever experienced. We had a few hints along the way leading up to the big day and I thought some of our activitieses sounded well, lame. I just don't get into the country thing (even though I am a born Nashvillian) I love my Rock-N-Roll. Part of our adventures for the day included producing our own first ever Fisk-A-Teers record. We went the the Parlor on 16th Ave S and Music Row. Man, it was actually TONS of fun. We got to ride the F.A.D.D.'s Party Bus to the studio and back which was a treat all by itself. Once we came back and cropped a little more we walked over to the Infamous Nashville Palace and learned a line dance to "our" song. We had a private party room just for us. I have NEVER line danced before and thought fo-sho it would be silly but.....again, it was a TON of fun. Let me just mention ALL THE FREE PRIZES AND GIFTS GALORE. HOLY COW....I have NEVER seen anything like it before. Those Fiskar people know how to Par-tay!! We got scissors, rub ons, paper, tape runners, epoxy stickers, chipboard, cardstock, finger xacto knife, desk organizers, stamps, inks, bags, ribbon, embellishing flowers, chipboard albums, on and on. I happened to win the "Frankie" stamp thing AND all 12 ink pads that go with it plus 2 more stamp sets. My bestest scrappin' friend Tina won the GRAND prize which was the Brand New Fiskars Rock,Paper Trimmer!!!
the kewl new trimmer that is also an Ipod docking station, but wait....AND the flippin Ipod Nano to go with it!!! and a $15.00 card to Itunes!!!!!!! What a lucky bunch of girls we were!!! Oh and the food and snacks a plenty all of this for only a $20.00 fee! Are you kidding me??? If you are not a Fisk-a-teer you should be, it is a super fun community and it is Free to sign up!! Whew..are you still here with me??
Then on to the card. I wanted my card to match the cute little burpies and onsie that I made in the last post. I cut out a label one shape with fabric from the cuttlebug!! How fun is that felt and fabric cute out from the cuttlebug.... oh, the can of worms that have been opened. The card stock and ribbon are from my stash do I don't know the company name except for that bright pink which is Bubblegum from CTMH. The cute flower stamp is Women of Life from PTI and the sentiment is PTI Bitty Baby Blessings. I got the layout from a card in Card Trends Magazine. I love that mag, tons if fabulous artwork. Well, I must go this has been a long post and I think my family misses me! Teehee
Cheers!

Burpies!!!!
HI you guys. I am so excited to share the burp cloths I made. I got these from the super duper talented Dawn McVey check out her blog entry here. She also has the directions from the Fiskars Craft Site linked on that post as well. Since I still have several friends at work that are pregnant I will be making a few of these. I also copied the onsie idea from Dawn and cut a star from the same fabric and sewed it on! So flippin' cute, fun and EASY!! I am off early in the am to the Fiskars Fiskafriendzy all day crop!! So excited!!

Felt Mittens
Evening to you all!
Hope your Monday has gone well. It was a pretty OK day at work. Usually Monday is ferocious! Very busy but today just steady. Gotta love that. Anywho.....wanted to share a card that I started at my friends Gina's monthly card workshop. Once I got home I changed a few things. Instead of the stamped mittens I decided to cut them out of felt. I like this MUCH better. Then it seemed a little boring so I added snowflake brads! I like this much better than the original. And my friend Angela let me borrow that awesome punch!! thanks girl! Thanks for coming by my way today. Dont forget to enter for blog candy on Saturdays post!!
Cheers!

Frosty Nights
Happy Election Day! Man, I got lucky, I walked right in and voted!! I tried 3 different times before during early voting and each time it was a 2 1/2 wait. Anywho, I am still playing with the new nesti's. This time I used Curved Rectangles, I decided to make the whole card the shape.
I used True Thyme cs from SU then used CTMH White to stamp the snowflakes from Snowfall PTI. The snowman and sentiment is Made of Snow also PTI. I don't know but I think this one is a little bland, I inked the edges for more pop, it did help define the curves. Oh well back to the drawing board. TFL!! Not much longer and I will have 10,000 hits that means blog candy!!!
Cheers!

Happy Halloween!!
Good Morning and Happy Halloween!
What better way to celebrate Halloween than with winter cards!! Teehee
I FINALLY got the new Label One dies from Spellbinders. Gosh, that was such a looonnnngggg
wait. Anywho, I just had to dive in. I REALLY need to learn how to take better pics of cards because the blue does match IRL on these cards however, it just does not show up on camera.
I got out the Rustic Snowflakes from PTI and the Indian Corn Blue from CTMH and made a couple of winter cards. The first one is matted on Shimmery Silver PTI. I stamped onto that too awesome White cs then cut out the 2nd smallest label. The ribbon used is PTI Shimmery Silver and retired SU French Blue amazingly it matches the ICB exactly! The second card I think is my fav. I cut a large label out of glossy cs, stamped Rustic Snowflakes in versamark, embossed with clear ep, then sponged ICB over it with the nesti as a stencil to leave an edge. The glittery ribbon I got at the end of Christmas last year at Hobby Lobby. I stamped snowflakes in White pigment ink (SU) then added some little silver Dew Drops. Both cards I embossed the word "snowflakes" in Silver ep. So that is my morning so far. I hope to get a chance to play more after I help dd class with there "Fall Party!" Have a Happy and SAFE Halloween!!!
Cheers!

Frilly Girly Card
EDIT: GO TITANS 31-21!!!
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!?!?!?
Whats goin' on this Monday Evening? In my world the Titans and Colts game! Woooohoooo
Go Titans. Well, if you do not enjoy football then I have a card to share with you! I made this card per request for a girl I work with, her DD, Janie is turning 7 this weekend. Janie's favorite
color is PINK! I got this layout from another card in Nov/Dec Paper Crafts Magazine made by
Melissa Phillips. I loved the softness of it and just had to duplicate. I admit that it may not be very young but it is still soft and delicate like this soon to be 7 year old. Anywho, I used PTI Vintage Cream cs and stamped PTI Polka Dot Basics in SU Cameo Coral. The pattern paper and stickers are from the SU Simply Scrappin kit. I stamped Janie (which you cannot see in the pic) with PTI Spring Moss then cut in little strips and had them peak out over the main image. The number 7 was stamped from CTMH Homestead Alphabet. The yummy fat grosgrain ribbon is PTI Spring Moss and the button and silver string is from my bottomless stash-o-goodies. I hope you enjoyed this card today also. Thanks so much for the visit. Hope to see you again soon!!!
Cheers!

October Papertrey Ink BlogHop
Hi there, thanks so much for checking out my project for this months bloghop in which we were
to create anything with polka dots. Fun stuff cause I loves me some polka dots!! Since I took a jewelry making class not too long ago I decided to make a polka dot snowflake necklace. I bought an inexpensive large charm and painted it green with pink polka dots. The polka dots were added with PTI Polka Dot Basic stamp (I do believe this is my favorite PTI stamp set that I have) I then stamped a snow flake from Rustic Snowflakes with white pigment ink as white paint did not give a good image. After that all dried I covered it in Mod Podge for a nice shiny coat. I used seed beads that matched the paint and faux pearls and silver spacer beads. Of course I needed a card to match just incase I decided to give this as a gift. This was a really fun project to create and my daughter was right there with me creating one of her own too. Thanks for looking I hope you enjoy all the other projects you can find on the PTI forum here.
Cheers!
