Happy Mothers Day Grandmother

Evening Folks!! Sharing a super quick card with you all today. I used PaperTrey Ink Father Knows best patterned paper cut into 1 inch squares. Then matted with Summer Sunrise cs. I
stamped the sentiment from Women of life also PTI in Summer Sunrise hybrid ink. The
white cs is White Daisy from CTMH. The score lines were made by placing the cs in the track
of my 12" timmer and running the bone folder across the cs down the track. too kewl. Had to finish the job with the awesome 5/8 " grosgrain ribbon also Summer Sunrise.
Hope you like it. I was inspired by all the clean neat cards Nichole Heady makes. TFL!!

It's a Boy!!

Okay, so I know I am partial to baby boys right now since we know grandbaby is a boy. Therefore, I made a congratulations baby boy card. I think this card looks great in person.
I used CTMH White Daisy and Crystal Blue cs and ink. I also used PTI Lemon Tart cs and
swiss dot ribbon. I used the cuttlebug circles and swiss dots. The buttons are from Wal-Mart
the thread in the buttons is tiny strips of Crystal Blue paper so it would match. **I got that idea
from the very talented Kendra** her blog is on my blog roll. The stamp set is the CTMH April
stamp of the month. TFL!!
craft on! Juile

Sweet Snail

Hi All, Wow I had such a cardmaking filled weekend. My daughter went to her PoP's house therefore, I had all the time in the world to be crafty. This card is one of my favorites I did.
I followed a similar layout from one I spyed on SCS. I used SU Apricot Appeal cs. CTMH White
Daisy and Sweet Leaf cs. CTMH Taffy and Sweet Leaf ink. I used the new CTMH Fun Times
stamp set. The button, ribbon and white brads are unknown makers. The apricot color brads are
from Bazzil. and the flower is Making Memories I think. I am not sure who will be the worthy
recipient of this card yet! teehee TFL

April Blog Hop

HEY THERE!!!! Welcome to the Extras on the Papertrey Ink April Blog Hop. Our assignment was to create a project using little pieces of Father Knows Best Patterned Paper from PTI's April release. Man, it was challenging. I played around with pieces forever. I even took some to work and played around sshhhhh!! In the end this is what I came up with. A SUPER SIMPLE but fun card. I really could not decide on my sentiment yet so I have left that out. I dont know if I want this to be a Fathers Day card or what. I simply made a border with the squares of patterned paper. I then used Pond Life stamp set for the scene stamped onto CTMH White Daisy cs. I used CTMH inks in Topiary,Indian Corn Blue,Desert Sand and Bamboo. I then cut out the whole scene to create a more dramatic 3-D look. I re stamped the duck and cut it out and raised it on SU dimensional. Anyway, I hope you like it. It was, as always, fun to play with PTI stamps!!!

Cool Cat Sorbet

Greetings! Wanted to share Cool Cat with you today. I am *so* sad this stamp set is retired by SU it is one of my FAVS! I paired this card with some Papertrey Ink. The card base is Black cs from CTMH and the white cuttlebugged cs is also CMTH White Daisy. The cat and cake is Cool Cat from SU and the candles on the cake is PTI Its a Celebration. I Layerd Berry Sorbet cs from PTI also. The delicious satin ribbon is PTI Berry Sorbet. That cool beans cat needed sparkles so I added clear ice stickles on the colar and tiara. The black ink and stickles kinda turned a little green it is not so dramatic IRL. I also glammed up the cake with some stickles. It did not take long to sell this card at work today. Oh, and the yellow flames on the candle is Buttercup CTMH.
Have a great night!!!

Happy Sunday!

Hello to you on this beautiful bright Sunday afternoon. I did quite a bit of stamping the last couple of days. I had to get a set of cards for a gift for my step-mother and I had a couple of
orders to fill also. This one was a just a funin' around card. I had no specific agenda for this one but love the simplisity of it. I used Sassy Stems stamp set from SU. Crystal Blue,White Daisy and Black cs from CTMH and the polka dot patterned paper is S.E.I. I ran the big peice of CB through the cuttlebug circles embossing folder. The sentiment is Papertrey Ink Happy Birthday that I punched out with the Creative Memories circle punch and pop dotted it. I traced around the image with CTMH markers Crystal Blue, Garden Green and Vineyard Berry. Then I threw on some (wish I were a Dew Drop) fake dew drops from Michales floral section. Thanks for visiting me today. Have a great week. I'll be back soon.

Happy Birthday

Sorry this pic is not the best. The lighting and camera were being ornery. I just about totally cased this card made by stagccva over at splitcoast. Hers was so stunning. I wanted to make this one a little more playful. I used CTMH retired b&t paper in Sweet Leaf as my base and mats. I used CTMH Buttercup cs. I stamped various happy birthdays with the Happy Birthday stamp set from CTMH. I stamped the small panel and best wishes sentiment from PTI Its A Celebration along with the cupcakes in the same set. I glittered and stickled each cupcake topping. This was a really fun card to make. I made another one more like stagccva's original for my friend Danielle's Birthday but forgot to take a pic before I gave it to her. So beautiful. You should try it. TFL

Happy For You

Here is a simple but sweet card for my dear friend Holly. I have worked with Holly for several years now and it saddens me that she has decided to move on to a job closer to home. Who can blame her for that? We have had so many fun times at work. Especially when we worked the night shift. Teehee. When you work late into the night/early mornings one tends to get a little silly and delerious. anywho, I made this little card for her. Happy for you. I am happy for her, but so sad for me. I made this with CTMH Crystal Blue, Garden Green, Chocolate and White Daisy cs. I stamped with Its a Party dotted circles. small flower from Friendship Blessings, "happy" from Solo H and For You from Every Occasion all CTMH. I stamped, cut out and pop dotted a flower in the middle of a metal rim circle (maker unknown). Polished it off with some white grosgrain ribbon! Thanks for stopping by. Craft ON!!

April Showers...

Bring crafting hours!! Man it has been a while since I have stayed up til 1:00am. But I did it last night. This has been a VERY wet and rainy April. I am a little tired of the rain for a while. Anywho, I have a few friends at work that need me to make them Mothers Day cards. I wanted to get them done and I was in the "mode" so I kept pumping them out here are a couple. This one I used CTMH Orange and White Daisy cs. SU So Saffron cs and ink. This ribbon is from Michales dots and dashes. I stamped in second generation ink onto the So Saffron with the Legendary Moments in the upper right corner then I embossed with clear embossing powder (maker unknown) the outline of a butterfly from Butterfly kisses both stamp sets are CTMH. I cut the butterfly out and positioned it just above the Happy Mothers Day sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Women of Life. I got this layout idea from the SU catty.
The top card uses PTI Everyday Blessings and Women of Life. I stamped the Cross in SU Bordering Blue and stamped the outline of the Cross in CMTH Twilight. Then used a sweet, tiny paper flower and mini brad from CTMH mini medley set. I stamped the CTMH Colonial White cs with Bamboo ink with the Linen background stamp from SU. I matted it onto a piece of Bordering Blue. Then matted that onto Chocolate cs from CTMH. I placed those layers onto PTI Spring Moss and tied a piece of retired French Blue to complete the look. Stamped the PTI sentiment with CTMH Chocolate ink. I love to combine lots of makers onto one project. Just shows how versitile everything is. TFL

Happy Friday to you all!! I have a card work shop tonight. I am excited. I love when the girls come over, we have so much fun. Anywho here is a card I totally cased from the SU catty. However, I used CTMH products. I love orange and red together. The base is Desert sand, the square is Cranberry and the orange is Gold Rush. I punched small circles from White Daisy cs
with a SU circle punch. I stamped Blessings sentiment from Promise of Spring Stamp set. The flowers and stems were stamped with Brushstroke Flowers (a now retired stamp set) I stamped one flower in Cranberry then stamped the outline in Barn Red. The orange flower I stamped in Gold Rush the stamped the outer image in Autumn Terracotta. The stems were stamped in Garden Green. I cut out each flower and pop dotted. I thought this was a fun card and I am glad I tried it. I {heart} to stamp!!!

Little One

Hey there! I know I just posted a baby boy card but I could not help myself I had to post another. This one is made from Papertrey Ink stamp set Just Hatched. I used PTI Spring Moss and Aqua Mist card stock and Patterned Paper. I cut 1" circles from the cricut also using CTMH Chocolate Card stock. I distressed all the edges with Chocolate Ink. I stamped in Chocolate onto
White Daisy cs from CTMH, the outer edge of the "Little One" and masked the rest of the saying then colored with a marker just "Little One" in Sweet Leaf (CTMH) and stamped inside the oval.
The ribbon is also PTI Aqua Mist. Then I lastly stamped the cute "10 little toes" randomly on some circles. I hope you like it. It was a time consuming but fun card to make.
I am gonna run now, lots of catching up to do from being gone all week-end. Thanks for coming to see me today!

Atlanta here I come

Hello, I am so excited to be headed to Atlanta this afternoon. My upline Heather and I will be
attending the CTMH Regional Celebration. Sort of a mini convention. I hope to learn lots of new things and play with lots of new CTMH stuff. The summer catty is effective May 1st but we will
get to see some of the new stuff now wooohooo. I made this scrapbook page last summer but I still love it. I love how Grace is so intense on her art project. I wonder if that is what I look like
when I create. I used SU designer paper. Fancy Pants chipboard covered with more SU designer
paper. I used stickles on the paisley and flower. I stamped CREATE in CTMH chocolate ink onto Colonial White card stock also CTMH then cut out the letters and mounted them onto SU Certainly Celery and cut them out again. The photo corners are also CTMH. Very simple project but one of my favs. Have a GREAT weekend and I'll see you all on Sunday or Monday.
