Workshop Card
this is a sneak peak at ONE of the cards we will be making. I got this design from Linda D over at SCS you can see her beautiful card here I was very inspired and thought it was just perfect for weddings coming up this summer. I used CTMH products instead. The flowers and leaves are from Joy Forever. I used Indian Corn Blue and White Daisy. I cuttlebug white cardstock. I cut out the oval shape using the Creative Memories custom cutting system. And I punched the scallop piece with the Marvy Giga Scallop Punch. I heat embossed the flowers and leaves with JoAnn silver embossing powder and then I colored just the inside middle of the flower with ICB marker from CTMH and the outlined the leaves with Sweet Leaf marker from CTMH. I used two way glue and traced along the flower petals and dipped it in Prisma Glitter from CTMH. Pop dotted the flowers and thats it! I hope you like it!!! TFL.

Welcome! Thanks for taking a minute to come see my creation for the first ever Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. This is what I managed to come up with. Cute little candle card with some yummy Papertrey ribbon. I matted the entire card with Papertrey Ink Spring Moss card stock then a layer of Berry Sorbet Polka dot designer paper then a layer of white card stock that I cuttlebugged. I stamped Happy Birthday with the Birthday Basics and punched out with the Stampin' Up window punch. I then needed flames, what is a candle without flames?? so I used some random satin yellow ribbon. Not anything fancy but it sure was fun to make and play with Papertrey Products. Thanks for Looking!!
Anyone can participate in the forums here
and listen to all the chit chat about all the projects made tonight. You also can vote for your favorite project you saw tonight starting at 8:00EST. FUN STUFF!!!!!

Happy Easter!!
I made a double dry embossed frame around the cross by running my bone folder around in
the track of my 12" paper trimmer. I took the pic before I decided to put a rinestone in the middle of the Cross which just makes it that more beautiful. TFL. I hope you get to spend time with your familes today too.

little sumpin' sumpin'
CTMH Friendship Flowers, Simple Stitches, and Fabric Finishes. I stamped the lone flower in Kiwi (love that fun, bright color) then polka dotted it with a marker and covered it with liquid glass. love the Fabric Finishes to make any color of ribbon you want. Add a few brads and you have yourself a card. I will wait for the occasion to stamp a sentiment. I got this idea from Paper Crafts Magazine. TFL

Easter Card
I made quite a few Easter cards this weekend. Here is one of them. The stamp set is from Papertrey Ink called Everyday Blessings. The Cross is open so I stamped it onto glossy cardstock treated with the shaving cream technique. Then heat embossed it in gold ep from CTMH. I cuttlebuged White Daisy card stock from CTMH and the blue mat is Night of Navy from SU. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby not sure of the company. Oh, and the sentiment and emblem is also from the PTI Everyday Blessings.
Thanks for looking I am going to try to craft a little today. I just cleaned out and re arranged my daughters room. It was EXHAUSTING. Have a great Sunday!

Fashion Designer in the making
Grace comes home the other day and says "i can make a dress out of these pants" curious me, asks "really?? show me how" And here you go. Over the shoulder strapless ensemble. Absolutely genius I tell ya. Funny to watch her walk in it, looked like Morticia from the Addams Family.
Can you say Project Runway??

Chocolaty Delicious
Well, I got the layout for this card from Sharon Johnson over at SCS you can see her card here
I decided to use the shaving cream technique and love how chocolaty it came out. I used SU Chocolate Chip and gold re inkers on glossy card stock. Then matted it onto CTMH Chocolate.
I used the Legendary Moments stamp set and embossed the main image with Gold Embossing powder from CTMH. Tied it all off with some silky chocolaty ribbon. YUMMY!

Reflections Case
inspired as soon as I got it in my hands. Each layout gives you 3 more options to work it AND
the full color examples use all new and updated papers and embellies. I broke out my sewing machine on this page. I have never sewn on pages before (GASP!!!) it was so fun. Like I said I
copied exactly like Reflections had it. I just used different theme and paper. Well thanks for visiting today!!

scrapalicious weekend
So I had such and awesomely scrapping weekend. It was snowing here. We did not have any soccer or gymnastics to go to so what else is there to do then to play in your happy place and SCRAP! I love this pic of me and Jim. I hate the shirt he has on though. Why he likes to go to parties and look as ridiculous as possible, I will never know. I used textured cardstock from CTMH one side is light blue the other side is dark blue. I punched circles out of a half sheet of the same textured cardstock with the creative memories circle punch to make an uneven scalloped edge around the piece of phunky phresh from BasicGrey. I matted the pic on white daisy from CTMH. I used making memories and CTMH paper flowers and fabric (blue) flowers from Lil Davis Designs. I used random bling in the center of flowers and then SU white rub on along the bottom of the layout. I also used SU Ginormous pieces of chip board (the hearts) and covered them with White Daisy pigment ink from CTMH. It was a fun layout to do. I think I am not finished looking at it yet so I will display it for a little while before it goes into a book!! What do you think? Have a great week! Craft On!

Papertrey Paradise
So I have been swimming in Papertrey Paradise lately.
Here is the latest. Everything I have of theirs is so soft and
sweet. I do not have the nestabilities (GASP!!!) but I am
working on that soon. So I, being somewhat creative, decided
to make my own scored and scallop pieces. For the scallops I
used the smallest circle punch from SU ( 1/2 inch ??) punched
bunches of circles and taped them to the back of a 3x2 1/2
rectangle. You cannot tell in the picture but on the bamboo
colored paper I scored a line down each side by laying the paper on the track of my 12"
trimmer and scored with the bone folder. I think it looks just like a Nestabilities if I do say so
my self. I had to stamp the Friend sentiment in StazOn because dye ink and chalk ink bleed
in the super duper silky twill ribbon. I {heart} that ribbon so much. Well thanks for coming
to see me today. Have a great tomorrow!!
Craft On!!
