out last night that I won the FREE STAMPS FOR
A YEAR from PAPERTREY. OMG!!!! I am THE

One lady told me she thought she herd me screaming all the way in St Louis!! teehee. If you are not familiar with Papertrey please go check them out at Papertreyink.com you can also get their from my list of favorite blogs to go to. One of the owners is the UBER talented Nichole Heady and her blog is listed below. Well today I was so excited that I played around in my scrap room aka happy place. I do not have any Papertrey stamps YET so I played with my favorite CTMH stamps. This card uses the Eastertime which is the January stamp of the month. I got the lay out from another uber talented girl markiesmom on SCS. I used CTMH Indian Corn Blue, Olive, Desert Sand and Bamboo. I also used the fantastic
SU hodgepodge hardware. I cuttlebuged the main Olive piece and dotted black all around the edges of each layer. It looks better in person. Jim things I should have used more "Easter" colors. Sometimes I just wanna be different darn it! I hope you like it! So hope you all enjoy the rest of your Sunday. I however, will be enjoying the rest of the YEAR with my NEW STAMPS EVERY MONTH FOR A YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!! woooohoooo me!!

Where does the time go?
Oh, why do our kids have to grow so fast? This is Grace at 3 months and 8 (almost 9) years old.
When I first saw this set from CTMH I immediately imagined a layout something like this. Not quite what I had in my head but, it never seems to work out like that anyway. All of the products are CTMH except the letters which were cut using the Cricut. The paper pack is Life's Delights and the stamp set is Make it Count. I embossed all of the clocks in silver and in gold then cut out the hands on the two big clocks. that was a small challenge in its self! Looking back at her baby pictures she is still so lovely and has always been so happy. I hope she stayes that way through her teenage years!!! Thanks for stopping by today!!

Flourishes
I think I really like this card. I saw a shirt in a store the other day and I thought "wow that would make a pretty card" and now here I am with this creation. Funny how I find myself inspired sometimes. Anyway, I used Cool Caribean cardstock now retired but CTMH has a color almost just like it called Crystal Blue. I stamped with Chocolate ink from CTMH. I used Playful Flourishes and the new set called Joy Forever from CTMH it is so cute and only $13.95
item # b1296. I stamped off in chocolate on the solid image of the flower then stamped in full ink on the outline. I traced the chocolate flourishes with my super duper Sukura glitter gel pen that I seam to use so much and also traced the outline of the flowers. then I used silver stickles in the middle of each flower. I cut each flower out and pop dotted one of them. fairly fast and super cute. I may should do one like this at a workshop sometime. If you are reading this and you come to my workshops let me know what you think about this card!!
Cheers,
Julie

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!
Happy Valentines Day!! Hope you all have a Sweet one! I made these bookmarks for my co-workers. I used glossy cardstock cut out into tags. I then stippled a layer of Blush ink from CTMH then stippled a layer of Cranberry Crisp from Stampin' Up. Then I stamped with Black ink from CTMH using the Vintage Valentine again from CTMH. This is one of my most favoritest
stamp sets. I also stamped some of the images in Cranberry Crisp (now retired by the way) I think my favorite is the postage stamp. To finish it off
ran around the edges with either silver or gold
leaving pen from Krylon. That is an awesome pen that just glides so smoothly on glossy cardstock. Stapled some black ribbon on the top and there you have it a calorie free Valentine gift. Thanks coming to visit. Have a great night!!!!

Say it with me....awwwww (teehee). I thought I would share with you today a card I made for a lady I work with. Her daughter will be having a baby and she has been really sick lately so she asked me to make her a card to cheer her up. We don't know if the baby is a boy or a girl yet but her daughter LOVES pink. I hope I made it pink enough. Unfortunately I do not have any CTMH baby stamps so I used the SU I'm here set. The little carriage in the circle is CTMH but, in the now retired Celebration Solid. I believe that was my very first ever stamp set from any company. Man, if I knew then what I know now about how crazy I would be about this hobby and how much moolah I would spend on it, I might have rethought that purchase. But the damage is done and I am HOOKED I tell ya. The pattern paper is from CTMH called Moore to Adore. The cardstock is CTMH hollyhock, blush and vanilla. I distressed each panel in chocolate ink and a sponge then used my super duper glitter gel pen by Sukura to make the dots around the circle punch from Creative Memories. The ink is CTMH blush and chocolate and the pink polka dot ribbon is CTMH. I just used my last piece of this ribbon on this card, 12 whole yards I have used up.This ribbon was well loved. I think I may buy more. I love polka dot ribbon. It makes me giddy! Anyway, we are off to eat Chinese food. Thanks for stopping by!!!!

High School Musical
Gooooood Morning! Wanted to share
this layout with you. Jim and I took Grace and her friends Ali and Lauren to the Disney High School Musical on ice. Man young girls sure can scream.
There was a part in the show that "Troy" changed shirts. When his shirt came off all those girls in the area scrreeaaammmed. You would have thought it was Beatlemania!! I looked at Jim in amazement and said "those girls are only 8-9 years old" what are they doing screaming at a guy with his shirt off??? Grace is definately not going on a date until she is 25. For this layout I borrowed a sheet of white textured cardstock from Stephanie (thanks! :0).. so I do not know what brand it is. Then I used Headline Alphabet letters from SU and stamped them in Honey ink from CTMH. I used clear Stickles for all of the dots "lights" on each letter. After that dried I cut them out (my hand ached for hours), forgot to bring my Cricut with me to camp. I mounted
the pics on Honey cardstock from CTMH. the star in on the right side of the pics is Star Struck from CTMH and the star in on the left side of the pics I borrowed from Tina (thanks :0) so I dont know what brand that is either. I love how this turned out. simple (fairly) but makes a great statement. TFL. Hope you are inspired. Have a Happy Friday!!!

Love of my life
I used BasicGray paper and distressed the edges with CTMH white daisy pigment ink. Technique Tuesday chipboard which I covered in Bravo Burgandy Craft ink by SU. The Love of my life rub-on is Bohemia that I rubbed onto more BG paper and tore around the rub-on.
The bling is CTMH sparkles that are scattered around the layout. The writing around the frame was done with Marvy Uchida Deco color opaque white pen. Some of the "writing" on the heart chipboard is was done with white rub-ons by Making Memories however, I did learn that it is almost impossible to rub-on onto painted chipboard so I gave up and wrote with the paint pen. This is the messiest layout I have ever done. Also, I did not realize at the time but I wrote upside down on the top of the frame. DUH!!! I guess sometimes you cannot think so clearly when you have a room full of loud crazy stampers/scrappers. The photo was sized and imprinted with the flourishes by scrapbookpictures.com you should check them out it is pretty neat. They also will print on metallic paper that is too cool. Anyway thanks so much for looking and I hope this ispires you to create today!

Away for the week-end
I am too flippin' excited today. I am on my way to Craft-N-Camp with my girlfriends!! 3 days and 2 nights of uninterupted stampin and scrapin. wooohooo. I am gonna leave you with this card. I made this quit a while back. I cuttlebug the blush cardstock and then stamped Fair Blossom in blush then outlined in hollyhock. Stamped the sentiment "we are never alone...when friends fill our lives" It is hard to tell in the photo but I covered the white square with prisma glitter. All of the mentioned products are CTMH. The ribbon is Stampin up and the circle paper clip I picked up at Target. Have a great week-end. I know I will. Thanks for stopping by!!!
